Show Authority Comes From State To Ask For Bids Authorization was received Wednesday Wed-nesday morning by the Duchesne County Board of Education from the office of the State Superintendent Superinten-dent and State' Building Board,- to advertise for bids on the new addition to the Roosevelt Junior High and remodeling projects at Roosevelt Elementary and Tabiona schools. According to Theron Leavitt, Roosevelt, immediate past president presi-dent of the board, the message was received by the board office ' at Duchesne. However, since three members of the board are enroute to Atlantic City along with Supt. Rowan C. Stutz, and another is ill, delay of advertising for bids will be necessary for another week. "If we can get bids to conform with the estimates of the architects, archi-tects, construction on the new school projects would be going within a few weeks," Mr. Leavitt said yesterday. |
