Canning Center Nears Completion The Roosevelt Stake canning center is expected to be com-nfeted com-nfeted this weekend. Canning equipment is presently being installed in-stalled with John Campbell, of tne general church authorities, in charge of installation. According to E J. Nixon, bishop of the Second ward, the canning center will feature equipment as modern as any to t,e found within the LDS Facilities will be open to the public immediately. The canning can-ning center will be used principally prin-cipally for individual group canning can-ning and Stake canning projects, and arrangements for its use may be made with the custodian, custod-ian, yet to be named The equipment equip-ment has a capacity of 1,200 cans per day. Cans and machinery machin-ery will be supplied by the canning can-ning center at a minimum charge. The center, under construction construc-tion for about two years, was financed, jointly by the church and stake.
