Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mrs. mnk Monks and daughter daugh-ter Marguerite, who have been in Salt Lake while Mrs. MonKs receded medical attention returned re-turned home last . week. Mrs Monks' condition is somewhat improved, but she will be confined con-fined to her bed for a month. Mrs Aaron Larson and son, of San Diego, Calif., are guests at the home of Mrs. Larson's sister Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Jenso'rf. Mrs. Larson went to Ogden Sunday for a visit with relatives. She will return shortly short-ly to spend the summer here Mrs Syerl Dennis was called to Springville last week by the illness of her mother. Mr and Mrs. Devon Gentry are enjoying a short visit from their son, Pvt. Donald Gentry, who arrived Friday from Ft. Ord, Calif., enroute to Camp Gordon, Ga., where he will be assigned to the signal corps. He will leave July 1. Lavar Peterson now has on display an observation beehive constructed of glass. Sands Post 5, held a special session Friday evening to elect officers for the coming year: Braine Brokaw, commander; A. C. Tolboe, 1st vice commander; Reed Peterson, 2nd vice commander; com-mander; Milton Lott, adjutant; Orval Gillen, chaplain; George Wedig, sergeant-at-arms. A pot-luck pot-luck lunch was served at the Wm, R. Harris home by members mem-bers of the Auxiliary, following the business meeting. A beautifully- arranged luncheon lunch-eon was served Friday afternoon after-noon at the home of Mrs. Bliss Lott when Mrs. Lott and Mrs. Wm. Preece entertained members mem-bers and guests of the Friday Bridge club. Their guest list included in-cluded Mrs. H. W. Davenport, Mrs. James Dalgleish, M'ss. Afc. ice Todd, Mrs. Ho.mpr Robinson, Robin-son, Mrs. Floyd, tamh, Mrs. Wm. H. LincH Pnd Mrs. Rex Lamb. Mrs. Robinson won high score. Reed Peterson, employed near Kamas, spent the weekend here with his wife. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgelsh were among the guests present Saturday at the wedding of Miss Bonnie Adams to Sam Snyder, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr, and Mrs. R. J. Adams, in Roosevelt. Norman Dennis, of Salt Lake, spent the weekend with his father, fath-er, Syerl Dennis. Mr. arid Mrs. Virgil White, of Provo, were weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Funk. |
