Show SOCIETY fist BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED ALTONAH Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark, of Altonah, entertained enter-tained at a birthday dinner Saturday, Sat-urday, commemorating the 91st anniversary of Mrs. Clark's fa ther, Brigham Timothy, Calling to pay their respects to their father were his follow' ing eight children; James, Char-1 ley, and Eliza Clark, Altonah; Lottie Allen, Price; Sabe Timothy, Timo-thy, Roosevelt; Heber Timothy, Mt. Emmons; Lavon Timothy, Bonanza. Kathleen Barrett, his great-great granddaughter, also called to wish him well. Mr. Timothy has 30 grandchildren, grand-children, 40 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, t BRIDGETTE Bouquets of yellow roses formed an effective background for the delightful dessert luncheon lunch-eon at which Mrs. Verlend Nelson Nel-son entertained members of Bridgette club a t her home Thursday evening, June 22. Following the luncheon, four tables were arranged for bridge. Prizes were won by Mrs. Clem Labrum, Mrs. Ned Bellon, and Mrs. Johnnie Cook. Mrs. Lenore Collingham, of Denver, and Mrs. Wanda Campbell, Camp-bell, who are visiting in Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, attended as club guests JUST-A-MERE Mrs. Reva Owens was hostess host-ess to members of Just-A-Mere club at her home Thursday evening, eve-ning, June 22. Twelve guests enjoyed a delicious de-licious luncheon, followed by an evening of bridge. Prizes went to Mrs. Pearl Moysh, Mrs. Grant Killian, Mrs. Tom White, and Mrs. Jack Zimmerman. TUESDAY BRIDGE CLUB Mrs. Clair Ashton was hostess to her bridge club at a charming dessert luncheon at her home Tuesday evening, June 27. Cards provided diversion, following fol-lowing luncheon, for sixteen guests. Prizes were won by Mrs. Earl Dillman, Mrs. Ray Jordan, and Mrs. Lynn Orser. |
