Show Gusher Frances Semken Mr. and Mrs. Guy Underwood arrived home Friday, following a three-week trip through the western states, Canada and Alaska. Alas-ka. Albert E. Beck, of Cheyenne, Wyo., visited Thursday with his nephews, Lester and Fred Schwobe, whom he had not seen for 20 years. Scott Ferguson left Sunday to seek employment in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Markey returned Saturday from a week's trip to New Mexico. Mrs. Elva Shields and daugh- ter Norma Jean, and Mrs. Mar-cin' Mar-cin' Carrol, of San1 Francisco, visited Wednesday with Mrs. Lucy Duvall. Sunday visitors at the Albert Semken home were Mrs. Elizabeth Eliza-beth Nebeker, of Ft. Duchesne, Raleigh Nebeker, Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe, Myton, and Mrs. Robina Ferguson and Mrs. Lucy Duvall. Mr. and Mrs. Nick Pappas were enjoyably surprised Sunday Sun-day when their sister Mrs. Annie Daskalas and children', and their brother, Nickie Clothakes, all of Salt Lake, arrived to spend a few days. The Gleaner and Junior- Girls met Tuesday at the home of Delia Mae and Dorothy Arnold, to hold regular classes and to practice soft ball. Refreshments were served to Mrs. Elgina Perry, Per-ry, Oleana Arnold, Afton Bodily, Bod-ily, Kay Dean, Arnold and Eleanor El-eanor Hackford, Juanita Curry and Lela Mitchell. Arlene Jensen, Mrs. Elzina Perry, Billy Arnold and Dorothy and Delia Mae Arnold attended the Stake M-Men and Gelaner banquet at Roosevelt Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wright and family, presented a genealogical gene-alogical program Sunday at Sacrament Sac-rament meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Curtis, of Ft. Duchesne, spent Sunday evening with Mr, and Mrs. Hy Domgaard. |
