Show Notice of Gas & Oil Mining Lease Sale UNDER SEALED BID. 2:00 P.M. OCTOBER 29. 1951 Sealed bids will be received at the Uintah and Ouray Agency, Ag-ency, Fort Duchesne, Utan, until un-til 2:0U P. M., October 29, 1951, for oil and gas lease on the following fol-lowing described parcel of individually in-dividually allotted, restricted Indian In-dian land, located within the jurisdiction jur-isdiction of the Uintah and Ouray Ou-ray Indian Reservation, in Uin-tan Uin-tan County, State of Utah, and lying within the Salt Lake Base and Meridian Survey: Tract of land in Sections 27 and 34, .Township 13 South, Range 24 East, Salt Lake Meridian, Mer-idian, according to Official Plat i of Survey approved August 10, 1914, containing 100.75 acres more or less, known as allotment of To-nuts. No. 473, Uncom-paghre. Uncom-paghre. The land is offered for lease as one unit, for a cash bonus in addition to the stipulated royalties royal-ties and rental of $1.25 per acre per annum. The successful and responsible bidder for the lease will be required to pay in advance ad-vance an annual rental of $1.25 per acre, the cost of advertising and a filing fee of $5.00. Conditional Con-ditional or alternate bids will not be accepted and .no drilling I propositions will be considered as a part of the bonus offer. A deposit of 20 per cent of the bonus bid and 20 per cent of the advance rental for the first year must accompany the bid and be in the form of a certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank, payable pay-able to the Treasurer of the United States. The sale will be held and the lease executed in accordance with the Act of March 3, 1909 (35 Stat. 781, 783) and Title 25. Part 189, as amended or supplemented. supple-mented. Lease Form 5-154h will be used. The successful bidder will be required to prepare his own lease and secure the signatures of all Indian owners. The lease must be completed and returned, together with all supporting papers pa-pers within 30 days from date of award, together with the bat-lance bat-lance of the bonus and rental paments and the $5.00 lease fee. An additional period of time will be granted for good and sufficient suf-ficient reason upon request made prior to - the expiration of the original 30-day period. The Superintendent Su-perintendent reserves the right, as a condition precedent to the granting of any extended period of time for filmg a lease, to require re-quire the deposit of any remaining remain-ing sums due and owing on the lease, including the balance of the bonus bid and the first year's rental. Failure of the successful suc-cessful bidder to comply with the terms of the sale and the regulations, will render his deposit de-posit liable to forfeiture in the discretion of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Leases not completed within the required length of time will be subject to revaluation of bonus and sales may be cancelled and deposits forfeited unless for good and sufficient reason an extension of the filing period is granted. This tract of allotted land is offered subject to the execution of the lease by the adult individual indi-vidual owners. The right is reserved re-served by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to reject any or all bids and to disapprove any lease made on an accepted bid. Should any bid be rejected after a deposit is made, through no fault of the bidder, all moneys deposited shall be returned. The lessee must furnish a sat- I isfaetory surety bond as required by regulations. !
