Show Wiiiteiocks Party Honors Birthday Of Daughter Mrs. Roy Adams entertained at a birthday dinner last Thursday Thurs-day evening in honor of her daughter, Ailsa. The table decorations dec-orations were pink and white, with a beautiful white birthday cake, decorated with pink rose buds, for a centerpiece. Covers were laid for Flora Harvey, Glenna Ross, Theron Robb,. Velma Moosman. Ronald Robb Donna Rae Hall, Jack and Ailsa Adams. The evening was spent playing play-ing records, games, and in singing. sing-ing. Glenna Ross, Velma Moosman, Moos-man, Donna Rae Hall and Flora Harvey spent the night as Ailsa's E'uest. Roy Adams, principal of Uintah Uin-tah Boarding School, has been in the southern part of the state and in Salt Lake City all this week on business. Mrs. Virgil Robb was entertained enter-tained and honored with a stark shower given at the Whiterocks ward Saturday afternoon. She received many useful and lovely gifts. Mrs. Frank Griffin is ill at her home. We wish her a speedy recovery. Jerry Griffin has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Griffin. She is in training at St. Marks hospital in Salt Lake City. j Some forty or fifty Indian young people made a trip to Salt Lake City last week, where they visited the University of Utah, 'to attempt to determine! whether or not they would be I interested in continuing their studies there after completing their high school work. Mrs. William Avery entertained entertain-ed at an informal birthday din her last week honoring' her daughter, Mrs. Gene Walkup, of Farm Creek. A pewter teapot filled with red and pink roses made a lovely centerpiece against a forest green cloth. Places were set for eight. |
