Mr. Laris had accompanied his niece, Mrs. Roy Royal, and her husband to Portland, Oregon for a visit. Mrs. Laris had visited in Price and Salt Lake City before re-! turning home. Mrs. Clarence Redmond and son, Kelly Gene, left this morning morn-ing to visit her daughter, Joan Roberts, who is training at St. Mark's school of nursing, Salt Lake City. Mrs. Redmond planned to take Kelly to an eye specialist while there. Edith Nell Preece left last Wednesday for San Francisco after a week's visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Preece. Nixon, Nix-on, Mrs. Dwain Buchanan, Mrs Marion Rasmussen, Mrs. Harold Eldredge and Mrs. J. V. Freston attended Relief Society conference confer-ence in Salt Lake City last Wednesday and Thursday. Salt Lake City visitors Wednesday and Thursday wer Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harm-ston, Harm-ston, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Lee Harmston, of Salt Lake City, left last Saturday for San Francisco to check on Howard's military status, after receiving a letter from Uncle Sam. Miss Joyce Rogers "and Miss Orienne Miller, spent last week end in Salt Lake City. Among the B.Y.U. students home for the week end were Renee Labrum, Dale Larsen, Ar-vin Ar-vin Labrum, Ray Johnson, Mau-rine Mau-rine Gilbert, LaVaur Reynolds and Grace Colton. . SaH Lake City visitors last Wednesday and Thursday were Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, Mrs. Steve Bellon, Mrs. Clem Labrm, Mrs. Johnnie Cook and Mrs. Marvell iNeilson. Highlight of the trip was witnessing the playoff between be-tween the Dodgers and Giants on television. The Sharon Andersons are very elated over the arrival of their first child one of the fairer sex, weighing 7 lbs. 2 oz. at birth. She answers to Lorana and expects to be home from the hospital Saturday. Both mother and daughter are doing fine.
