Show Young Musicians Perform At U. of U. Stadium Among those from Bluebell who are in the Altamont band and who went to Salt Lake Saturday Sat-urday to participate in the annual an-nual Band Day ot University of Utah, were Dal Seeley Billie Lisonbee, Eloyce Atwood and Udell Winkler. The school bands from Altamont Alta-mont and Duchesne were honored hon-ored by an invitation from the University to participate in activities ac-tivities at the U. of U. football stadium. Some 1700 brightly-uniformed band members from high schools in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming participated in the band fest. The students enjoyed the football foot-ball game between University of Utah and Brigham Young University before returning home early Sunday morning. Among those attending Gen-1 eral Conference in Salt Lake City last week end were Bishop Gardner Goodrich, Wm. O. Lar- son, Udeil Winkler, President Bernard Winkler, and Cherril Remington. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Gale and boys visited here over the week end with relatives. The Gales are making their home at Todd Park. Mrs. frerie Barrett arid daughter, daugh-ter, Sharron Ann, went to Salt Lake City Sunday. Mrs. Barrett received medical treatment following fol-lowing a recent major operation. They returned home Thursday. |
