Show LEGION AUXILIARY I PLANS FOOD SALE The American Legion Aux-1 iliary, Basin Unit 64, held a business meeting Tuesday night' at the home of Alyce Aycock. Members present made plans for a food sale to be held Friday, I October 19, at the Uintah Power and Light office, and urge the , cooperation of the public. A portion por-tion of the proceeds will be used to aid the American Legion in purchasing new flags for the schools. Chairman for the event is Mrs. Pearl Moysh who especially urges deer hunters to select home-made foods at the sale before be-fore leaving for their hunt. It was decided by the group to have their meeting on the second sec-ond and fourth Wednesdays of each month, the time they were previously held. Clista Angus was the lucky winner of the door prize Tuesday Tues-day evening. |
