Show r.lOHTVJELL May L. Mower Honor Birthday The Relief Society held their annual birthday social on Saturday, Satur-day, March 17th. A bazaar was held in connection with it, under the direction of Donna Brown, the president, and her counselors, Mrs. Eva Johnson and' Reita Hamblin. Two plays were given by the women: "Among Us Girls" and "Sewing for the Heathen," which were under the direction of Montana Mon-tana Johnson and Evelyn Loran-ger. Loran-ger. Robert Brown gave a reading. read-ing. A cafeteria supper was sold and candy, popcorn and punch, besides the supper. Three fish ponds for the little fellows were run while the older people bought the aprons, rugs, pillow slips and the numerous other things that were sold at the women's department depart-ment of the bazaar. Those from outside who were in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Crow of Roosevelt, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Wilson of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kerr of Wyoming who are visiting Mrs. Kerr's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Crow. Mrs. Marvin Roberts and children chil-dren of PLeasant Grove visited over the' weekend with her parents, par-ents, Bishop and Mrs. James E. Larsen. Don Hunt is home again after visiting his father in Arizona for the past few weeks. Sunday School ward faculty meeting was held Wednesday. There was a very good turn out to it. Floyd Labrum of Roosevelt was a stake visitor Sunday. The speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing were Lester Thompson, Dan Pace, James E. Hamblin and Mel-vin Mel-vin Mower. .. Those' attending Relief Society Union meeting at Roosevelt were Donna Brown, Eva Johnson, Reita Hamblin, Pearl Larsen, Marie Miller, Mil-ler, Jean Hamblin, Hazel Brown, Vervel Blanchard and May Mower. Mr., and Mrs. German Workman were visitors one day this week at the Maurel Taylor home. |
