Show &h school naus ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY KINDERGARTEN Mrs. Burgener's room has got 3 fish and 2 turtles. They have some pussy willows. They also have a bird tree. GRADE TWO Mrs. Mitchell's room is going to put a play on next Wednesday. The name of it is "The Season of Happiness." Susan Sulnvan GRADE FOUR March 15, 1956 Mrs. Russell came to our room and played the piano for us. She played "Rustle of Spring." It was very pretty. Rustle of Spring Her fingers rippled over the piano keys and some of us imagined imag-ined we could hear sounds of spring waking up. We thought we heard soft zephyers in the trees and trickling brooks. A beautiful melody sang to us as if it were stirred by the water and the wind. When Mrs. Russell played "Rustle of Spring" to us, we were glad that spring is almost here. Doris j I went on a trip to Arizona. We j left at 3:00 a.m., Thursday morning, morn-ing, Feb. 23, 1956. I saw six piles of uranium stock about 50 feet high near Moab, Utah. , We also saw an old man with ' long white hair and beard sitting , by an old house with four goats. ' We rode horses for one dollar , apiece for one' hour. I By Rickie Labrum , SIXTH GRADE Mr. Nelson's sixth grade in ! science is making a collection of fossils and rocks. We have had I some boys and girls bring in rocks of fossil type. Also we have had some interesting reports on the "Coal Age," and the "Age of Mammals" and other reports. Some of the girls in our room are making decorations for the room. Some of the students in our I room are' bringing their hobbies to school to work on them in their spare time.
