Show ALFRED D. OBERHANSLY WHITEROCKS Funeral services ser-vices were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Whiterocks ward chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Latter-day Saints, for Alfred Duane Ob-erhansly, Ob-erhansly, 45, prominent rancher and stockman, who died at the family home Friday morning following fol-lowing a lingering illness. Prayer at the home was offered by Vern Oberhansly; the ward Relief Re-lief Society' Singing Mothers sang "O, My Father;" opening prayer, Lionel Jensen; first speaker was Bishop Gilbert Ellingford; Lazell and' Ferris Henrie sang "In The Garden;" second speaker was Lester Les-ter Gardner; Mrs. LaRena Iorg and Louis LaRose sang "Some Time We'll Understand;." benediction benedic-tion was by Virgil. Robb. Mr. Oberhansly was a son of Herman Alfred and Mary Clow-ard Clow-ard Oberhansly, and was born at Payson, Feb. 5, 1911. An active member of the LDS church, he married Edith Denver in Vernal in July 1940. Their marriage mar-riage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on Feb. 29, 1956. He is survived ,by his widow; five daughters and twosons: Bette, Lorna, Gwenda, Mary, Karen, Warren War-ren and Wade, all of Whiterocks, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Laura Jackson, Mrs. Lyle Fisher, Mrs. Lynn Bellon, Glenda Oberhansly, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Blanche Wagstaff, Tabiona; Tab-iona; Mrs, Wanda Anderson, San Francisco; Mrs. Beatrice Anderson, Ander-son, Worland, Wyo.; Mark of Ne'ola and Dean of Nine Mile. Burial was at the Roosevelt Cemetery, with Blayne Morrill dedicating the grave. Sisters and sisters-in-law of Mrs. Oberhansly were in charge of the flowers. Pallbearers were' Bernard, Emerson Emer-son and Clair Oberhansly, Delos and Joseph Gurr and Norman La-Rose. |
