Show Myton Ward Has Gold-Green Ball "My Wild Irish Rose'," the theme of the Myton ward Gold and Green Ball, Thursday evening, was beautifully carried out in the decorations of the Legion Hall. A crowded hall proved the' event was a decided success and all who attended at-tended voiced their approval of the beautiful, decorations, which made such a fitting background for the lovely young ladies in their gay formals in pastel and brighter colors. The theme song, "My Wild Irish Rose," was sung by Mrs. Gareth Anderson and her daughter, Beverly. Bever-ly. The floor show, under the direction di-rection of Mr. and Mrs. Holt Wardle War-dle was presented by nine couples who danced three numbers: "Waltz of Bells," "Coney Island" and "Teddy Bear's Picnic." A .group of girls presented a patriotic dance in Red, White and blue costumes. DeVere Hancock and Vernon Edwards, Ed-wards, both of Myton, and Mrs. Orson Neilson of Vernal, were Farmer Union delegates from this area to attend a session with senators sen-ators and Congressmen at Washington, Wash-ington, D. C. to discuss farmers' problems of this district. |
