Show Dear To My Heart Night Held For Mia Maids; Wendell Johnson Speaks The Roosevelt stake "Dear to My Heart" night, an evening for all Mia Maid girls and their 'mothers, 'moth-ers, was held Tuesday at the Union Un-ion Seminary building under the direction of the stake Mia Maid leader, Deeatha Olsen. Guest speaker for the occasion was Wendell Johnson, Seminary principal, with President Hollis G. Hullinger also giving remarks. Prelude Pre-lude and postlude music was played play-ed by Arvella Eksund, Neola ward; scripture reading, Jane Hadden, Myton ward; song. "Let's Live' Life in a Sweet Key," Dora Campbell, Camp-bell, Faye Hullinger and Helen Robbins, Roosevelt ward; prayer, Kav Labrum, Roosevelt 4th ward: welcome, Blanche Murphy, stake YWMIA president; Tribute to My Mother,' Ila Vaye Lemon, Ioka ward; Tribute to My Mia Maid, Arvella - Lemon, Ioka ward; remarks, re-marks, Jess Hullinger, high council coun-cil advisor;, closing remarks, Deeatha Dee-atha Olsen; song, "My Creed," Roosevelt 3rd ward Mia Maid's. Light refreshments were served under the supervision of Dora Curry, Cur-ry, stake activity counselor. Each Mia Maid ward leader and the stake, leader was presented a rose from the rose bouquet centerpiece. |
