Show ijeea Lecta Horrocks Former Residents Attend Reunion The population of this community commun-ity increased considerably last Friday when many former residents resi-dents returned to attend the ward reunion. During the afternoon, children attending the local school were served dinner and some films were shown. The evening's entertainment enter-tainment consisted of a full course dinner, movies and a program. The food was prepared and served by members of the Relief Society, while the MIA had charge of the program. A clever St. Patrick's Day theme was carried out in the clever decorations that adorned the, walls of the basement rooms, where the food was served. Visitors at the Glade Peterson home last week were Mrs. Jesse Clark, Mrs. Ida Crompton of Ev-anston, Ev-anston, Wyo. and Margaret Bowman Bow-man of Orrville, Calif. Mr. and' Mrs. Leland Wiscombe stopped briefly at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tal Wardle, ehroute home from Washington, D. C. Mr. Wiscombe was recently elected elect-ed vice-president of the United Painters Association while the' couple cou-ple were in that city. The family formerly resided in Neola, where Mr. Wiscombe served as a school I teacher. The following Primary workers attended the Roosevelt 4th ward conference last Sunday evening: Irene Henrie, Melba Eksund, Lecta Lec-ta Horrocks, Bernetta Duncan and Geniel Jensen. . Mrs. Martena Jensen left Monday Mon-day for Cottonwood, Calif, to visit vis-it there with Mr. and Mrs. Donald Jensen and their family. Mrs. Ada Hutcheon of Salt Lake City spent the weekend here with members of her family. Clair Mills was a provo visitor last Tuesday. . Spending the weekend here with home folks were Sherene Henrie and Phyllis Eksund, who are employed em-ployed in Salt Lake' City. Frank Slater of Ogden was also a guest at the Eksund home. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Horrocks and Mr, and' Mrs. Lloyd Horrocks of Salt Lake City visited in Ioka and Neola during the past weekend. week-end. Miss Marilyn Peterson, who is attending the USAC at Logan spent a few days last week here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Peterson. Mrs. Barbara Jensen and two daughters have been visiting in Las Vegas with her mother for the past two weeks. Mrs. Bernetta Duncan attended a baking demonstration in Vernal last Saturday. Accompanying her were Melody Riggle, Virginia Smith, Flora Liddell and Zelma Llovd. Visitors at the Theron Horrocks home last Saturday and Sunday were Jay Horrocks of Salt Lake City and Don Horrocks of Logan. Blaine Horrocks, who has been attending the USAC during the winter quarter, returned home to assist with the spring farming. . Mr. and Mrs. Paul Whiting and small children visited last week in Provo with Mrs. Whiting's father, Frank Mecham. Mrs. Patra Olsen, who has been visiting in Mona during the winter months, returned home last Monday. Mon-day. . Bill and Eddie Wilkerson of Salt Lake City made a business trip to Neola last week.
