Show Married Feb. 18 Mr. and Mrs.. Gene Weeks of Provo visited Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Weeks, Feb.. 20. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Weeks were married in Evanston, Wyo, Saturday, Feb. 18. The new Mrs. Weeks is the former Miss Sharen Bird of Altonah. Mr. and Mrs. Linford Maxfield made a business trip to Salt Lake City Monday.' Mr. and Mrs. Bill Brown and family of Salt Lake City visited Mrs. Brown's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Carroll, Feb.. 19. FOURTH BIRTHDAY Mrs. Claud Murray gave a party Feb. 22 in honor of her daughter, Vicky's 4th birthday anniversary. Games and refreshments were the entertainment of the afternoon. Guests present were Sandra and Lou Ann Timothy.Laurraine Palm, Joy and Maurine Shiner, Bunny Allred, Susan and Kim Fisher, Les-'lie Les-'lie Maxfield, Joann Curtis and Mark Murray, Mr. and Mrs. Linford Lin-ford Maxfield, Coralie Maxfield, Mr. ! and Mrs. Lester Maxfield, Mrs. LaRue Fisher and Mrs, Lawana La-wana Timothy. Rex Allred, who is employed at Rangely, Colo, spent the weekend of Feb. 18 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Allred. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Weeks and baby and Mrs. Bert Fowler left Feb. 23 for Los Angeles, Calif,, where they expect to make their home and Floyd will be employed. Bert Fowler and' son, Donald, will stay here until after school is out before they leave for California. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunsmore and family have moved to Altamont Alta-mont during the week. Jesse Palm, forest ranger, attended at-tended a business meeting at Price, Thursday and Friday, Feb. 23 and 24. Mrs. Ilez Ames went to Duchesne Du-chesne Feb. 23 to attend a meeting meet-ing on the Rural Education program. pro-gram. Florence' Weeks, who is employed em-ployed in Salt Lake City, spent the weekend of Feb. 18 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Weeks, Her sister, Ruby, returned to Salt Lake to spend the week. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Burgess accompanied ac-companied by Mr. and' Mrs. Oliver Bowden of Myton spent one day during the week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Clark in Vernal. TO SHOW FILMS The Moon Lake stake Primary is showing films on "Happy City" about the Primary Hospital in Salt Lake City during the month of March in the different wards. They will be in Altonah Thursday night. There will also be a program pro-gram "Disciplining Children in Primary." Everyone is urged to attend, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Burgess have sold their home and farm to Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lyons of Mtn. Home. The Burgess are planning on making their home in Orem. We regret to have them leave our community, but hope they like their new home in Orem. We also welcome the Floyd Lyons and baby son into our ward. |
