Show LeetonBennett Fern Houston ATTEND TEA AT VERNAL Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harmston attended the birthday party given in honor of Mrs. Kate Adams on her 90th birthday anniversary at Vernal, Mrs. Adams has been a resident of Vernal for over 60 years, and is loved by all who know her. The party was given by Mrs. Hugh Colton and Mrs. Clair H. Hopkins, and was a formal tea. It was held in the Legion Hall, which was given to the Legion by Mrs. Adams. The Rose Prom given at Victory Park by the Mia.tMaids and Explorers Ex-plorers was well attended and enjoyed. en-joyed. Frances and Norma Bowen are in Salt Lake City with Keith Bow-en. Bow-en. who has been operated on for a spinal condition. His condition is serious. He is at the LDS Hospital. Hos-pital. Mr. and Mrs. Von Haslem visited vis-ited at his brother John's home last Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs, Clair Haslem were called to American Fork on account ac-count of the illness of Mrs. Has-lem's Has-lem's mother, Mrs. Diamond. Honoring W H. Coltharp's birthday birth-day anniversary', which was Sunday, Sun-day, Mrs. Coltharp entertained the George Houston family at dinner and spent a quiet afternoon visiting.. visit-ing.. Mr. and' Mrs. Myron Haslem spent the weekend here visiting his parents, Mr, and Mrs. John Haslem. Has-lem. Nick, the small son of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Col'thdrp, was taken ill Saturday and rushed to the Hospital Hos-pital at Roosevelt. Dick Ferron and family, of Minnesota Min-nesota are here visiting at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ferron. They also have been in California. Dick and , Howard Blumer are old friends and Dick had visited him at San Mateo. He visited with the Floyd Harmstons and gave them an account of Howard How-ard and family to his mother, Mrs. Harmston. D, Ray Hall is employed by his uncle, Kenneth Hartle at Lapoint. Mrs. Jennie Wing is in Salt Lake for medical attention. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Houston were I in Provo a couple of days on business. |
