Show WIIITEROCKS Madeena Smith t HONORED AT RECEPTION A wedding reception and dance was held Friday at the LDS church hos for Mr. and Mrs. Grant Jar-man. Jar-man. The bride fore a beautiful gown of satin and lace. There was a large crowd attending. The honored couple received many lovely gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Oberhansl.y returned home Tuesday from a two weeks stay in Salt Lake. Mr. Oberhansly's health is a little better bet-ter at this writing. The literature lesson was given by Lynne Hardy in Relief Society meeting Tuesday. The' Elbert Smiths attended the P-TA at Union Wednesday night. The Bill Hoops family returned from Sait Lake Wednesday, where Mr, Hoops has been for a month under a doctor's care. Mrs. Virgil Robb is still quite ill with the mumps and Mrs. Lee Wardle' is on the sick list. The LeRoy Smith family and Mrs. Mabel Ellingford of Lehi were in attendance at the wedding reception for the Jarmans Friday. The Smiths visited the' Elbert Smiths while they were here, LeRoy Le-Roy and Elbert are brothers. The Norwood Hardy family visited vis-ited in Vernal Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Petro Forakis of Salt Lake visited over the weekend week-end at the J. O. Hoops home. Gale Rasmussen and his father, Calvin Rasmussen, came in from Salt Lake Saturday to move the Gale Rasmussen family to Salt Lake, where they will make their home. The members of the school board were here Tuesday inspecting inspect-ing the school buildings and visiting vis-iting the school. . Pres. Hollis Hullinger visited our ward Sunday and was a speaker speak-er at meeting. The Keith Ellingford family of Salt Lake visited over the weekend week-end with home folks. They also attended the dance and reception for the Grant Jarmans. Mac Murray was graduated from Primary at meeting, Sunday, and will become a deacon next Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Davis Morrill were dinner guests at the Blayne Morrils Sunday. |
