Show Bertha Angus Violet Gentry AARONIC PRIESTHOOD HAS PLEASURE TRIP Aaronic priesthood of the ward had a pleasure trip Saturday, They left the ward house in 3 cars at 9 a.m., went to Spanish Fork to swim; visited the State Fish and Game house at Springville' then to Provo to attend the ball game between BYU and Montana. Those going were John Percival, Kent Robison, Arden Timothy, Tom Melburn, Hal Winterton, Bart Kil-Iian, Kil-Iian, Jim Droll'inger, Alton D. Percival, Per-cival, Virgil Namoki, Jimmie' Lemon, Lem-on, Mardel Brinkerhoff, Gary Zo-bell, Zo-bell, Charles Ray Richens, and Ralph Dart. .Adult chaperones were Evan Percival Hugh Percival and Russell Robison. A NEW BROTHER Mr. arid Mrs. Howard Jones announce an-nounce the birth of a son at the Roosevelt Hospital, Feb. 25. A little sister, LaRue, is home awaiting await-ing her nev brother. ' Mrs. Devon Gentry of Myton and Mrs. Dean Washburn and children chil-dren of loka were luncheon guests of Mrs.. Tom Gentry Tuesday of last week, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Partridge of Panguitch called on Mr. and Mrs. James Lloyd Saturday. Mr. Partridge is a brother of Mrs. Lloyd. Mrs. O. A. Dart spent a couple of days in Duchesne last week caring car-ing for her two grandchildren, while their parents, Mr, and Mrs. Will Dart visited in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Washburn and children of Spanish Fork spent the weekend with Wesley's mothn er, Mrs. Olive Sorensen. They all were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Fausett; of Upalco, Sunday. Sun-day. Glenna Dart and Louise Gentry were home' on a short visit from Mt. Pleasant. They came in with the Wasatch Gospel Team from Mt. Pleasant, Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Webb and children of Sandy visited two days the past week with Ben's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Webb. RETURN HOME Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Stone and son, Lee, returned home Saturday after spending the winter in Salt Lake City. They made a trip to Los Angeles before they returned to see the new LDS Temple and other places of interest on the trip. Carolyn Remund of Duchesne was a weekend visitor of Eda Bee Percival. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and Mrs.. Bertha Angus attended funeral funer-al service's in Duchesne Friday for Susan Remund', infant daughter of Mc. and Mrs. Glen Remund, Connie Lee Remund of Duchesne is staying with her grandmother, Mrs. John Angus, while her mother moth-er is in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and children and Mrs. John Angus were visitors of Mrs. Emma Remund Sunday afternoon. Sunday evening services were under the direction of the Relief Society. A special, program was given to the theme "Search the Scriptures," Mrs. Ann Murray of Myton was a stake Relief Society visitor. She was accompanied by her husband. |
