Show Raedlett By Mrs. Viola Jensen Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lawrence Law-rence returned to their home in California. Mrs. Annie Murray and Mrs. Ana Taylor, of the Roosevelt stake Relief Society, were visitors vis-itors Tuesday. Time was spent building a quilt and making quilt blocks. Mrs. B. O. Colton, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, visited Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lu-la Lu-la Dudley. Supt. Harold Lundel was a visitor Thursday at the Avalon School, and Mrs. Lola Christen-sen Christen-sen was a visitor Tuesday. Chester Taffey, of Vernal, was a visitor in the community, Tuesday. Raymond Anderson fell from a scaffold, Friday, while working work-ing at the Calvin Jorgensen home and was badly hurt. Mr. and Mrs. George Jensen and family, of Salt Lake City, visited Friday at the home of Mr. Jensen's uncle, Jess Jensen. Mrs. Sadie Peay and children are visiting in Provo with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Boyd. B. O. Colton did some survey, ing for the Ouray Park Irrigation Irriga-tion Co., Thursday. The people in our community Thursday evening started using their telephones. |
