The nice part about this Court of Honor is that we are going to have an Eagle Scout.' Yes, Larry Allred has put his shoulder shoul-der to' the wheel and is obtaining obtain-ing this coveted award. We're, going to' have an outstanding ceremony welcoming him into the Eagle's nest and it will be an event every Scout, Scouter, Explorer and friend of scouting will want to witness. This month's host troop will be Moffatt ward at Gusher,, Troop 260, with Paul Howard as Scoutmaster are really going all out to make this particular Court of Honor something to remember. The date is Sunday, April 26th and the time will be 2:30 p.m. Our Courts of Honor always start on time, so be just a little early so you won't miss any part of the program. pro-gram. Fellowship Banquet Friday, April 10th, the Roosevelt Roose-velt District had a wonderful representation at the Utah Ua-tional Ua-tional Parks Fellowship Banquet Ban-quet at Provo. Paul Murphy assisted as-sisted in awarding eight Silver Beaver awards. Time, 2:30 p.m., and Gusher troop will be hosts. Beaver himself and also vice president of the Council. Al White, district commissioner commission-er of the Duchesne District, was awarded a Commissioner Key for his outstanding service in the Duchesne District for the past three years. Both Roosevelt Roose-velt and Duchesne Districts received re-ceived a Gold Star Award for having completed their Boy Scout Finance Drives and having hav-ing all units possible registered. |
