Show 17IIITER0CKS Madeena Smith A baby girl was born Thursday Thurs-day to Mr. and Mrs. Walter Moosman. A large crowd of Indian people peo-ple have been gathered here for the Bear dance. Picture shows are being shown at the gym every night for the benefit of the Indian people that are here for the Bear dance. Ouray McQuire is tne snow man. Mrs. Eldon Anderton returned return-ed home Friday from the hospital hos-pital with her new daughter. The two Relief Societies were held together Wednesday, and a quilt was quilted, another was tied and dresses were cut out for an Indian toaby. Mrs. Elbert Smith and Roberta Rober-ta Crozier spent two days in Tridell this week, helping Mrs. Nellie Merkley pack. Mrs. Merkley is planning on making her home in Logan with her son, Charles Merkley, for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Warren Jones, Indian missionaries, visited in Whiterocks, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Brough, Elbert Smith and son, Orion, attended the funeral of Robert Hatch in Vernal, Saturday. Paul Robb, Job Rasmussen, Mildred Moosman, Lila Wilson, Nora Christensen and Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith, M.I.A. officers, offi-cers, attended M.I.A. convention conven-tion in Roosevelt Wednesday night. Primary Planning meeting was held Tuesday afternoon. The lesson was given by Edith Oberhansly. The Bishopric and Relief Society So-ciety officers attended Union meeting in Roosevelt, Sunday. A group of girls gathered at the church house Saturday to help Miss Fay Ellingford celebrate cele-brate her birthday. Games were played and a delicious lunch was served. |
