Show LeetonBeneetf Mrs. Fern Houston Fire Burns Hen House, Chickens While Mr. and Mrs. Burns McKowen were in town Saturday, Satur-day, someone started a fire in some weeds on their place. Thinking the fire was out they retired for the night, tout later were awakened by one of the men from the Taylor Oil well telling them of a fire on the out buildings. Their chicken house and all the chickens were destroyed des-troyed before the flames were controlled. Charles Springer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Springer, and Mary Jane Kelsey, of Roosevelt, were married at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gale Anderton at Montwell, Tuesday April 14, in the presence of relatives and a few friends. Mr. and Mrs. Tidwell and Wayne Haslem witnessed wit-nessed the ceremony. Mrs. Francis Bowen gave a birthday dinner at her home on Friday, complimenting her daughter, Mrs. Mark Ober-hansley. |
