Show BASEBALL TEAM BEATS DUCHESNE Altamont High School baseball base-ball team beat Duchesne 14-10, Wednesday afternoon, after losing los-ing their first game to Union, 14-7. Bill Thompson hit two' home-runs home-runs and Jerry Carrol hit one for Altamont. Paul Bird and Bob Fieldsted pitched good ball, while Max Allred, injured catcher, was fine behind the plate. For Duchesne, Harris and Grant came through with some timely hitting. I We wish the boys much success suc-cess in their remaining games and in their quest for the trophy. tro-phy. The Altamont Elementary classes will be putting on their operettas on April 29 at the high school. 4-H CLUB MEETS The 4-H Club held a meeting and organized their group on April 16, at the home of Lyle Young. They have chosen to call themselves "The Jets." Their officers are Laird Hartman, Hart-man, president; Lyle Gomm, vice-president; Chad ' Hansen, sec.-treas. Gary Hansen and Steve Evans, reporters Lvlo Gomm will be the leader of thf group and they will meet everv two weeks or month.
