Show Mrs. Ethel Beebe Junior Potts Is Back In Army As A Lieutenant Mr. and Mrs. Junior Potts and daughters left Saturday morning morn-ing for West Virginia. Junior has been called back into the Army and has to report for duty by April 14. His rating will be Lieutenant. Junior served in World War II from January 8, 1944 until December 1945 in the European theater. He was in a German prison camp from December 19, 1944 until . April 20, 1945. He received an honorable discharge in December 1945 at Ashford Hospital in West Virginia. A large crowd of young folks from Altonah attended the Stake Mia-Maid's Rose Prom at Upalco Saturday night. Cleo Clark, Bonnie Bon-nie Ames, Coralie Maxfield were a part of a chorus who sang Moon Light and Roses. Ross Berrett, Glade Timothy and Grant Monson were speakers speak-ers in Sacrament meeting Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Powell spent Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. James Powell at Cedar-view. Cedar-view. Mr. and Mrs. Tuff Reay of Myton, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jessen and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Reay, Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Clenty Ames attended Stake Primary conference con-ference in Boneta Sunday evening. even-ing. Mrs. Ames is on the Stake Primary board. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Barnes of San Francisco, California were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith Saturday. Mr. Barnes made his home with the Smith's for about twenty five years. |
