Show Mrs. Garda Seeley SOFTBALL GAMES The Bluebell girls softbail teams played with the Boneta girls on Wednesday- The score was 39-11 in favor of the Bluebell. On Tuesday a game "of excitement excite-ment and fun was" offered when the grandfathers challenged the girls in a game of softbail. The score was 21-16 in favor of the grandfathers. The Primary presented the program pro-gram Sunday evening. Mrs. Pearl Orr and Mrs. Dorothy Farnsworth of Mt. Emmons were the Stake Primary officers present. ' Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mathews and five children left Thursday for their home in Daly City, California, Cali-fornia, after a 10-day visit with Albert's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Mathews- While Albert and his family were here, the Claud Mathews family held a reunion att Woolf Creek. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ma-thws Ma-thws and children, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Mecham and family, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Mecham and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Holt and baby of Vernal, Mr. and Mrs. Bus Mathews and family and Slade Mathews qf Bonanza, Mrs. Lila Larsen and children of Roosevelt, Mr. and Mrs. Carl DeVries and family of Ogden, Mr. .and Mrs. Fred Mathews and family and of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Claud Mathews and Phil of Bluebell. Blue-bell. Callers at the Claud Mathews home while Albert and his family were here were Mr. and Mrs. Emest Winkler and family of Vernal, Mr. and Mrs- Bill Mathews Ma-thews and Mr and Mrs. Floyd Cummings of Upalco and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler and' Max-ine Max-ine Todd of Bluebell and Mrs. Velma Monsen of Bluebell-Mrs. Bluebell-Mrs. Maxine Todd and two boys and Mrs. Lucile Winkler, Mrs. M. Verona Winkler and Udell Wink-'ler Wink-'ler spent Sunday and Monday in Provo with relatives. The special occasion was the blessing and naming of the baby son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Duke. The name of the new boy will be Bernard Keith. . ' Sacrament Meeting In sacrament meeting on Sunday Sun-day afternoon the infant daughter of Mr. anw Mrs. Jimmy Bird was blessed and given the name of Sheila Marie. Two' boys were baptized bap-tized on Saturday and confirmed in Sacrament meeting. They were Evan Deloy Babcock and Gerald Dean Cook. Marlyn Jennings and' Boyd Goodrich returned to Provo on Sunday after spending the weekend week-end here visiting with their parents. par-ents. Floyd Goodrich and family left on Saturday after spending the past Veek here visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Goodrich and other relatives. They will visit in Provo a short time before returning to their home in Covina California. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs- Howard Jenkins and son Gary spent two days in Ogden Og-den last week taking care of business bus-iness and visiting with relatives. The Bernard Winkler family went to Naples Ward at Vernal where they attended the Olsen family reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bird of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Allred spent a few days here visiting visi-ting with Mr- and Mrs. James Bird. The Dale Allreds left on Monday for Indiana where they will make their home. Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Lisonbee of Salt Lake visited on Tuesday here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Arie Cook and John Asa, Lynn and Edgar attended atten-ded a family reunion at Spanish Fork on Saturday- They returned home by way of Price where they visitted a short time before returning home the same day. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Ewells parents, Mr- and' Mrs. James W. Powell. Mr- and Mrs. Alma Richman and two children of Provo spent the weekend here with relatives. |
