Show 3oLg Violet Gentry Bertha Angus Pioneer Honored On 80th Birthday Some 88 relatives gathered at the Roosevelt city Park Sunday honoring James B. Lemon for his 80th Birthday Aug. 4, Those from here attending were Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon and family Mrs. Ro-ene Ro-ene Russon and the honored guest and his wife. Mr. Lemon -was one of the first Pioneers here. Fuller i Merrell of Salt Lake and daughter Mrs. Mable Handy of Vernal visited Mrs. Angus Tuesday Tues-day afternoon. A new grandson for the Edmund Ed-mund Webbs was bom to Mr. and Mrs. Ben Webb July 31 at Sandy. Visiting at the Atto Lloyds the past week were Mr. and 'Mrs. Gam Lloyd and family of Mid'vale Alex Joziva and daughter Rosalee of Orem, and his mother Mrs. Mary Joziva of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Lloyd went to Logan and spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs, Howard Lloyd. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lfoyd, . Mr. and Mrs. James Zobell and family, fam-ily, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Llyod and family and Mr. and Mrs. Gam Lloyd and family all enjoyed a picnic dinner and swimming at the Dye pool Thursday. Sunday evening services were under the direction of the Primary Pri-mary organization with Dorothy Stone .Primary President, conduc-tings. conduc-tings. Parent and Primary Partnership Partner-ship was the program and' the parts were taken by Primary children with older members of the ward filling in as needed to make it complete. Birthday Dinner Mrs. Dick Fausett of Upalco entertained Mr. and Mrs. Dean Washburn and children and Mrs. Olive Sorensen and son A. V. at dinner Tuesday. The occasion being be-ing the binthd'ays of her daughters Peggy and Sherry and son, Bobby and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Dean Washburn. 'Mrs. Walt Anderson of Roosevelt Roose-velt called on Mrs. Tom Gentry Thursday Attorney and Mrs. B. L. Dart of Price and attorney Clyde Dart of New York were visiting their brother and sister-in-law Mr. nad Mrs. O. A. Dart Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dart and family were in Salt Lake over the week end. Bette Percival, Ree Jines, and David' Percival called on Pat Gentry Gen-try Friday afternoon to help her celebrate her 8th birthday anniversary anni-versary . . Mrs. Wayne Russon has been the house guest of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon the past two weeks. , Ilia Vay Lemon,, Era Vette Percival, Per-cival, Elaine Richens and Louise Gentry enjoyed a chicken fry at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richens Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. W. Y. Gentry made a trip to Salt Lake Monday returning the same day. Mrs. Floyd Searles of Midvale was visiting her aunt, Mrs. Henry Nelsen Sunday. |
