Show " LeetonBennett Fern Houston Mr. and Mrs. Floyd E. Harm-ston Harm-ston have purchased a home in Provo and will move there soon. They have sold their cattle to Van Killian and leased the pasture pas-ture to him. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Anderton have moved into the home form-erally form-erally owned by George Houston. They are making a dairy farm of the place. Mr. Anderton dirves a milk truck for Hi-Land Dairy. Mrs. Anderton is the former Lela Mooseman. Mrs. Nellie Horrocks and Byron spent the weekend here visiting at the home of Morrell Labrum. They are here to complete the sale of their home to Marvin Hamaker. They have employment in Salt Lake City and will return Monday. Miss Bertha Bolton spent the weekend visiting her parents, the Mervin Boltons. Mrs. Lorna Parnell of Flagstaff, Arizona, has been spending the week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Houston. She drove her car and will return next week. While here her son, Larry, was baptized at Montes Creek reservoir, reser-voir, under the direction of Bishop Bish-op Clair Haslem. Sunday the small daughter of Mr. and Mrs Gerald Bolton was chirstened and given the name of Sandra. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Haslem at-' tended the Diamond family reunion re-union at Springville. Mrs. Haslem was Doris Diamond' prior to her marriage. They will return Mon day. Sunday, August 19, will be Primary Pri-mary Birthday week and the Primary Pri-mary will give a special program at Sacrament meeting. Mr. and Mrs. George Houston motored to Provo last week with the idea of buying a new home. George has employment with a building and contracting firm. Myron Haslem and family and sonre friends from Montwel left for Yellowstone National Park for a week's trip. Also going this week are Mr. and Mrs. Von Haslem. Has-lem. Home for the weekend from school is Douglas Phillips. Mrs. Jennie Wing left for Denver Den-ver Saturday evening by plane on a business trip. She will be gone several days. Mrs. Blayne Morrill of Trid'ell visited with her parents, the Win-fred Win-fred Longs. Mrs.- Winfred Long received a letter for their daughter. Gleance, stating that Donald Palmer, her husband, has been sent to Honolulu Hono-lulu as a special instructor as an electrical welder for the U. S. Air Force. |
