Those attending at-tending from outside points were Mr. and Mrs. Donnal Rasmussen and family, Mr. and Mrs, Acel Haslem and family of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Glines and son of Orem, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Norton Nor-ton and family of Roosevelt, Mr. and' Mrs. Von Haslem and family of Alterra, Mr, and Mrs. Ervin Young and family of Randlett, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Norton of Vernal, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmussen Ras-mussen and. family and Mrs. Sarah Norton of Lapoint. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Daniels left Monday morning for Oakland. Mrs. Mae Sprouse accompanied her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Jensen of Orem to Oakland to visit a son, Ercel Sprouse. Mr and Mrs. Albie Justice of Avalon and Mrs. Reva Workman and girls of Myton were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins Tuesday. Mr, and Mrs. Wells Jackson and family of California visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins Tuesday. They are former residents of La-point. La-point. It has been 24 years since they moved away. Mrs. Ruby Steel and small children chil-dren from Rangely spent the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs, Hayd'en Foster. Brent Stubbs of Meeker, Colo, is spending a week with his mother, Mrs. Mable Jenkins. Mrs. Alice White of Vernal visited vis-ited her father, Joseph Horrocks, Thursday. Milton Woolley made a trip to Salt Lake City during the week. last Wednesday at the Boswell farm in Mt. Emmons. Clarence Jones and Earl Duns-more Duns-more attended the baseball game at Helper July 28. A Price team defeated Altonah Post by a 9-0 score. He will undergo under-go an operation Mpnd'ay morning. She accompanied him to Salt Lake City. Word was received in Altonah that little Homer Corbin, son of Mr. and Mrs, Blaine Corbin of Vernal, was able to come home from the St. Marks Hosptial where he has been confined for several weeks with polio. The report re-port by' his grandfather, Lynn Farnsworth of Altamont is that little Homer is not getting along too well. |
