Show Church News The Moon Lake Stake unior Gleaner girls enjoyed an outing to Moon Lake. Seven young ladies attended from this ward. They were Hazel and Mary Reay. Melba and Ona Rust, Gwen Chapman, Kreen Hartman, Sherral Evans and Carolyn Dastrup. Wednesday evening the Stake Mutual and the scouts held a "Sing Song" party. Games, singing sing-ing and refreshments were enjoyed enjoy-ed by the many boys and girls attending. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Peel blessed their second son and fourth child at Fast Meeting on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Anthon Rust vacationed vac-ationed a few days in Salt Lake and the surrounding area the past week. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Soderquist will be happy to know that they are the proud parents of a 7'j lb. baby boy born June 18. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Stevenson are vacationing for a week in the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Miles are on a motor trip which is to include California and points in the Pacific Pac-ific Northwest. Chub Reay has gone to Salt Lake City to enter the hospital for surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hyatt visited with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Stevenson the weekend of July 29. The Hyatts are celebrating the dual anniversary of their second wedding wed-ding anniversary and their son Mac's first birthday. SURPRISE PARTY Mrs. Vera Holder returned from a visit to Provo in time to be guest at a surprise birthday party held in her honor by Mrs. Reva Redden, Mrs. Bessie Hanburg. Mrs. Pearl Munson and Mrs. Lila Farnsworth. Farns-worth. Mrs. Wesley Thacker and family have returned to their home in Altamont. They expect to make their home here for the winter season. . Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Mecfram are living in their new home in Altamont which has just been completed by receiving a final coat of stucco. This neighborhood is happy to welcome such fine neighbors into it limits. Mr. Floyd Caudell is spending a short vacation in Chicago, visiting visit-ing his father. Sonny Denver who has spent the summer witth the Ross Iorg family is in St. George with his parents. Hal Albert Daniels of Roosevelt was a Sunday visitor of the Ross Iorg family. Mrs. Edyth Hansen spent the weekend in Mt. Emmons rteurn-ing rteurn-ing Sunday to Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Perkins Per-kins and family of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs, Harry Fieldsted and family. Mr. and Mrs. Dewey ,Jes-sen ,Jes-sen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Iorg and family spent the weeknd fishing and camping at Moon Lake. |
