Show June Bride Weds Friday In Home Ceremony BENNETT (Special) Adding her name to the list of June brides was Miss Carol Springer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Springer of Bennett. Miss Springer Spring-er exchanged vows with Bud Fel-ter, Fel-ter, son of Mrs. Lyle Butcher of Roosevelt in rites performed last Friday by Bishop Clair Haslem at the home of Lawrence Pike in Roosevelt. The bride wore a gown of white lace and net, fashioned with long sleeves. Her veil was caught to a tiara of ' seed pearls and her bouquet was of white carnations and red roses. She chose Laura Pike as her flower girl and Jessie Mecham as her maid of honor. Both carried bouquets of white carnations. Assuming best man duties was Lawrence Pike. Mothers Moth-ers of both the bride and groom wore white carnation corsages. The bridal pair stood before a window, decorated with flowers to make a horseshoe for good luck. The setting was banked with large baskets of iris, lilacs and spirea. At the piano was Miss Patsy Gines who played the processional and recessional. I Following the ceremony, the bridal party progressed to the American Legion hall, where a program and dancing were enjoyed by the host of friends who called to offer congratulations. Mrs. Frances Horrocks, toastmistress, announced the following program: reading, Joyce Bolton; musical duet, Mrs. Anna Jackson and her accordian and Merle Jenkins with the guitar; vocal solo, Mary Margaret Mar-garet Horrocks, accompanied by Frances Horrocks. Lovely refreshments were served ser-ved and the complimented couple received many beautiful gifts. |
