Show BRIDGEUtflD Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee At 4-H MEETING Those from Bridgeland who at-' tended the 4-H convention at Roosevelt. Saturday, were: Christina Chris-tina Fitzgerald, Alice Beal, Thelma Barker and Joan Shephard as 4-H leaders. Those attending as club officers were: Mary Barker, Bertie Lisonbee, Betty and Colleen Fitzgerald, Fitz-gerald, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell and daughters, JaNae and Karren, accompanied ac-companied by Mr. and Mrs. Abe Liddell, of Roosevelt, left Friday for Montana to visit Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Leavitt, Mrs. Leavitt is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abe Liddell. Carol Ann Brady is employed in Salt Lake City. She spent the weekend at her home here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elden Brady. Mrs. Senor Mortensen, Sr. and Mrs. Shirley Mortensen, of Myton, spent Friday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer. Mr. and Mrs- Shelby Lisonbee and daughters, Bertie and Shelly, attended the wedding reception at Mt. Emmons, Saturday evening, honoring Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Lisonbee. Lis-onbee. Stake MIA visitors at Mutual Tuesday evening were Leo Foy and Art Taylor, of Duchesne. Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Murphy and children, of Murray, spent Sunday with their mother, Mrs. Jane Murphy and other relatives. Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs- Bruce Fitzgerald were: Mr. and Mrs. Reed Smithes and family and Mrs. Phoebe Swain of Kamas. Donna and LaWanna Smithes remained overnight as guests of the Fitzgerald girls, while their parents returned the same day. Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Giles and children, of Ogden, were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald during the weekend. Their son, Fred, will spend the summer here helping on the Fitzgerald farm. A SURPRISE PARTY Mrs. Carl Gail was pleasantly surprised last week when some of her former neighbors and very dear friends called to spend the day with her. They were: Mrs. Margaret Redman and Mrs. Annie Coleman of Halladay and Mrs. Todd of Roosevelt. The little daughters of Mrs. Darleen Huber, of Lapoint, Rita Ann .and Vickie Lee are visiting their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Lamb while their mother is staying at the Roosevelt Hos-Dital Hos-Dital with their little brother, who has a broken leg. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer and family were Sunday dinner guests of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. S, F. Mortensen, Mor-tensen, Jr., of Myton. Bruce Fitzgerald and Joe Mal-nar Mal-nar of Neola, went to Hanksville, Friday, returning Sunday, on a business trip. Mrs. Joe Merkley and Mrs. Rol-lin Rol-lin Merkley, of Vernal, visited on Wednesday with Mrs. Ethel Taylor. Tay-lor. Edna Neilsen is visiting in Salt Lake City with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Neilsen. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fitzgerald went to Salt Lake Monday to attend at-tend a dairy meeting. The children of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Neilsen, of Salt Lake City, are visiting their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Vere Neilsen, while their mother visits her parents in Oakland, Calif. Vere Neilsen took his mother, Mrs. Chastie Neilsen, to Price, Sunday, to visit relatives. They report that Mrs. Jim Keele, a former Bridgeland resident, is very ill. Her many old friends here are very sorry to hear of her illness. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Horrocks' and two children were Sunday visitors visi-tors of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clayburn, Mrs. Horrocks is a sister sis-ter to Mrs. Clayburn. Mr. and Mrs. Darol Rasmus-sen, Rasmus-sen, of Bountiful, visited one day last week with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Neilsen. Mr. and Mrs. Byrell Lamb and baby came home from Nevada, Saturday, where they have been employed. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Shields and two little daughters, Debbie and Pam, of Salt Lake City, visited vis-ited here last week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wanless Shields, Curtis Lamb accompanied his brother-in-law, Joe Shields, to Washington. They returned home Saturday. Mrs. Stanley Ross, of Arcadia, spent Sunday afternoon visiting Mrs. Ethel Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lisonbee and family, of Bluebell, were Monday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith visited visit-ed Sunday at Utahn with relatives. |
