Show Mrs. Robert Weber and children, child-ren, Susan and Lynn, of San Francisco, arrived Sunday for a two-week visit at the home of Mrs. Weber's mother, Mrs. Murel Benson. Also visiting at the Benson Ben-son home are Mrs, Reid Hullinger and baby girl, Heather. Mr. and Mrs. George Pulos were elated to hear that their daughter and son-in-law are the proud parents par-ents of a new son, born Tuesday at Rangely, Colo., and weighing 12 lbs. 3 oz. Congratulations to all concerned. j Visitors at the A. B. Christensen home last Sunday were Mrs. Christensen's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Norton of Springville, another sister, Mrs, Allan Hyde of Rupert. Idaho, and Kenneth Cook of Provo. Visitors the forepart of last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray E. Dillman were Mr. and Mrs. L. Heaton and family, of Casper, Wyoming. Weekend guests at the Dillman home were Mr. and Mrs. Byron Utley of Ogden. Mrs. W. J, Brockbank and daughter, Gussie, of Snowflake, Arizona, were Roosevelt visitors Sunday. They are former Roosevelt Roose-velt residents. Mr. Brockbank taught school here in 1916-17-18 and Mrs. Brockbank was stake chorister on the MIA Hoard. Both were very active in civic affairs. They left in 1918 to make their home in Arizona. Varney McLea, of Glendale, Calif., will arrive in Roosevelt this weekend to join his wife, Betty, and children, Michael and Vickie, who have been visiting at the J. V, McLea home during the past week. Mr. and Mrs. J. Douglas. Holm announce the arrival of a new daughter, Laura, weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. She arrived May 15 at the Utah Valley Hospital and was preceded pre-ceded in the family by three brothers. Mrs. Holm will be remembered re-membered as Raeola Kelsey, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kelsey- The Holms reside in Springville. Marie and Linda Peterson are spending a week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Grant Rowberry at Tooele. Mrs. Orvil Rudy and daughter, Martha, returned home Tuesday night from Salt Lake City, where both had been confined to the LDS Hospital for treatment. Martha Mar-tha was in the hospital fifteen days and Mrs. Rudy five days. ENJOY CANYON TRIP Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Eldredge, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Doug McKinlay, enjoyed the week end at their cabin in Uinta Canyon. Can-yon. They weren't able to relax quite as much as they had planned, plan-ned, because they spent part of the time repairing doors, etc., which had been damaged by some uninvited callers, who had broken into the cabin. Joining the group Sunday for dinner were Burke and Gordon Eldredge and Deann Asay. IOKA Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wright and little daughter, of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs, Chas. Percival and son, Evan, spent Sunday Sun-day evening with Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival and family. The evening was enjoyed watching interesting in-teresting films. Visitors at the Lynn Labrum residence last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Evans of Price. Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Labrum and children, Mike and Robyn, left early Sunday morning for Phoenix, Ariz., due to the serious illness of Mrs. Labrum's brother, Haines Jackson. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Johansen and baby daughter, Kathy, arrived Sunday to attend funeral services of Mrs. David Huish. Mr. Johansen Johan-sen has been assisting in the Huish Drug. They have been guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Laris. WELCOME HOME to all university uni-versity students- Seeing them about always adds life to the town. Donald Anderton spent the weekend with his wife and twin daughters. He has employment with the Frontier Air Lines as station agent at Rock Springs, Wyoming. His family expects to join him later. Visiting with Mrs. Benjamin Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Vera Timothy, Sunday were, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Wilson of Price; and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wilson of Helper. Houseguest of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wilkins last weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Lundberg, of Elko, Nevada, former Roosevelt residents. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Todd arrived ar-rived last weekend in Roosevelt for a few weeks' stay. Mr. Todd will manage the Sprouse-Reitz Store while Robert Rosecrans, manager, and his family take a vacation. Driving about town in a new two-tone blue and grey Plymouth are the Sheldon Fitzgeralds. |
