Show LADIES AID MAKES PLANS , The Ladies Aid held a special meeting to complete plans for their annual Harvest Supper, to be held at the Presbyterian church, Thurs- day, Nov. 3rd. Turkey and all' the trimmings will be served at the reasonable price of $1.00 per plate. An interesting program, under the direction of Mrs O. A. Dart, will furnish entertainment during the dinner. A bazaar will bring many lovely and useful gifts for sale to the ladies. Tickets will be on sale for "Basket Plenty" with Mrs. Bliss Lott in charge. Everyone is cordially invited. Mrs. Douglas Magley and small son left Thursday by plane to return re-turn to their home in Jefferson Valley. N. Y., after a two weeks visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd. Mr. and Mrs. Todd took them to Riverton, where they spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Clark and family came from American Fork to visit relatives and join the many deer hunters. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Thompson and daughter, Carla, of Orem, are visiting vis-iting Mrs. Thompson's mother, Mrs. Jennie Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Lott enjoyed a visit, Saturday from Mrs. Lott's brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs Joseph Legg, of Salt Lake. Mrs. Theo Aston and children arrived Friday from Pleasanl Grove to visit at the homes of her father, Earl Fowler, and her sisteh and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Larsen. They returned home Tuesday. Mrs. O. A. Dart has been suffering suffer-ing with a sever case of flu, out is now recovering. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Clark who have been residing in Sacramento, Calif., returned to Myton last week. Mr. Clark joined his brother and other friends in the deer hunt. Marcus Tingley, a former Myton resident, was greeting old friends, Monday. He has made his home in Long Beach for a number of years and was enroute from an elk hunt in Colorado. Weekend visitors at the J. W. Jenson home were Howard Jenson and Pete Graf, of Salt Lake City. Other visitors are Ralph Jenson, of Redondo Beach Calif, and son, Ralph Jenson, Jr. of Salt Lake City, who came for the hunting season. Mrs. Willis Dart and two children chil-dren returned to Duchesne last week after a visit at the ranch home of Mr and Mrs. O. A. Dart. Mrs. R. H. Burdick left Wednesday Wednes-day for her home in Ft. Meyers, Florida, after a two months' visit at the home of her sister, Mrs. Bliss Lott. A former Myton resident, resi-dent, she was widely entertained during her visit. |
