Show School Enrollment Listed For Duchesne County Total enrollment in the Duchesne County School District at the end of the first four weeks of the school term is listed at 2,362 by Supt. Rowan C Stutz. This figure includes 161 kindergarten pupils. Enrollment figures for 1954 at this same period tallied 2,241, but did not include kindergarten statistics. sta-tistics. At the various schools, total enrollments are listed as 263 at Altamont High; 247 at Altamont Elementary; 154 at Duchesne High;. 241 at Duchesne Elementary; 208 at Myton Elementary; 110 at Neola Elementary;; 425 at Roosevelt Roo-sevelt Elementary; 311 at Roosevelt Roose-velt Junior High; 168 at Tabiona High and Elementary; 235 Duchesne Du-chesne students attending Union High. Kindergarten enrollment is 27 at Altamont; 23 at Duchesne; 27 at Myton; 17 at Neola, and 67 at Roosevelt. By grade enrollment figures are listed as 161, kindergarten; 205, first grade; 226, second grade; 219 third grade; 153, fourth grade; 171, fifth grade; 184, sixth grade; 202, seventh grade; 193, eighth grade; 175, ninth grade; 187, tenth grade; 143, eleventh grade, and 143, twelfth grade. Duchesne County students at the Union High School are tallied as 94 sophomores, 73 juniors and 68 seniors. Supt. Stutz said increased enrollment en-rollment was expected to be shown on the October reports inasmuch as an influx of families had moved to Duchesne this month to work for a construction contractor. |
