Show Raodlett Viola Jensen Beehive Girls Give Mutual Program The Beehive girls presented an assembly program Tuesday evening in Mutual. There are nine girls, and each girl' represented a field of the Beehive, which was built of wood by their leaders and their husbands. During class period the girls and their mothers enjoyed a birthday party, which was in the form of a talent show. Each girl and her mother performed. Root beer floats were served to 18 guests. Each girl had her mother moth-er present. Pauline Pickup invited her grandmother, Mrs. Ada Pickup. Pick-up. Mutual officers and teachers attending at-tending stake leadership meeting in Roosevelt were Grant Jarman, Marion and Diane Taylor, Eugenia Pickup, Ethel Durfee, Jean Stoddard Stod-dard and Viola Jensen. The singing mothers met on Thursday evening to practice for their Sunday evening service. The Ward leadership meeting was held Thursday evening at the ward house. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marshall and family from Salt Lake City are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Jor-gensen. Jor-gensen. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Naylor and family of Gridley, Calif., are visiting visit-ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Taylor. Mrs. Taylor and Mr. Naylor are sister and brother. Mr. and Mrs. Van Jensen and daughter, Lydia, and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Jensen of Salt Lake City spent the weekend here deer hunting. Clifford Chandler and his nephew, ne-phew, Clifford Neilson, of Calif, came to go deer hunting with Mr. Chandler's two brothers, Elbert and William. Mrs. Asa Hullinger taught' the 7th and 8th grades Thursday in her husband's absence. The Leota Irrigation Co. held a meeting Wednesday evening at the Avalon Ward house. Stake High Councilman, Presley Timothy, of Roosevelt was the speaker at Sacrament meeting on Sunday. NEWLYWEDS NOW AT HOME Mr. and Mrs. Martin Chandler spent their honeymoon in Idaho Falls and Butte, Montana. They visited with the Roy McKees in Idaho Falls. The newlyweds returned re-turned home Thursday evening and moved into their home Sat. Recent visitors at the William Chandler home were Mrs. Mamie Chandler and her granddaughter, Beatrice Chandler, of Salt Lake City They attended the wedding of Mr and Mrs. Martin Chandler. A few of the Relief Society ladies finished a quilt Tuesday which had been started the week before. ENTERTAIN MOTHERS The Co-Pilot Primary class entertained en-tertained their mothers Tuesday. A program was presented and games were played. Light refreshments refresh-ments were served. Mrs. Veda Jorgensen is the leader. |
