Show t i .. ! . v r flm im mm iiwi i - I MENINGITIS VICTIM Little Cindy Christensen died suddenly sudden-ly at the Roosevelt LDS Hospital Hos-pital Sunday of a re-occurance of meningitis suffered several months ago Burial was at Delta, Utah. 19-r.lonth Old Baby Dies Sunday In Local Hospital Funeral services were conducted in the Roosevelt LDS stake house Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock for Cindy Lee Christensen, 19-month-old daughter of Authon E. and Lillian 'Bunker Christensen who died suddenly in the Roosevelt Roose-velt LDS Hospital after a few hours illness from after-effects of meningitis. Vernon Larson, Roosevelt; Oscar McCon-kie, McCon-kie, former California mission president, pres-ident, of Salt Lake City, and Ru-lon Ru-lon Christensen, brother of Cindy's father. Mrs. Jean Summers and Lacey Fitzgerald presented a violin vio-lin and vocal duet; Laura Ann Leavitt, a piano solo, and Mrs. Helen Larson played the prelude and postlude music. Prayer at the home was offered by Rex Curry; the invocation by Ray Summers and the benediction by Dr. B. J. Pope. Flowers were under the direction of Mrs. Clair Ashton, assisted by the Culture Club, and pallbearers were Clair Ashton, Merrell. Wilkins. Sam Weiss, Theron Leavitt and George Stewart. She was born in Fresno, Calif., Feb. 9, 1951. Her mother is a staff correspondent for the Deseret News and Telegram in Roosevelt. Cindy's father is the local representative repre-sentative of the Farm and Home administration. Survivors include her parents, one brother, Douglas Craig;, grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma J. Christensen of Delta. Additional services were held at Delta, Utah, where burial took place under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary of Roosevelt. |
