Show Bertha Angus Violet Gentry GO ON OUTING Saturday the Aaronic priesthood had an outing. They went to Nine Mile and report a very good time. Making the trip were: John Per-cival, Per-cival, Kent Robison, Tommie Mel-burn, Mel-burn, Arden Timothy, Alton D. Percival, Jim Drollinger, Jimmy Lemon, Bart Killian, Gary Zobell, Mard'el Brinkerhoff, Virgil Namo-ki, Namo-ki, accompanied by Bishop James Lemon and Russell Robison. Mr. and Mrs.' Roy French and son, Farrel of Ogd'en, visited Saturday Satur-day and Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Webb. Mrs. French is the former Lila Webb. Otto Lloyd' attended an ASB meeting in Price Tuesday and Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Sweet of Vernal, and Mrs. Wayne Russon of Roosevelt visited Sunday School here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Webb visited vis-ited Saturday in Artesia, Colo, with their son,- Clayton, and family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Stone were Salt Lake City visitors Saturday. They took two grandsons, LaMar and Lynn Drollinger home, who had been visiting here the past two weeks Visiting Mrs. John Angus Sunday Sun-day were John Asa Webb of Price, Mrs. Thelma Cook and sons, Lynn and Edgar of Bluebell, Mrs. Unice Remund and daughters, Ena Ra and Connie Lee of Duchesne, and Mrs. Eva Percival and sons, David, Alton D. and daughter, Bette. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Zobell. Sunday. The Sunday School gave a very nice program for Mother's Day Sunday. Each mother was given a rose and card. Those attending the High Priests party at Neola Friday 'night from hers were Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Benson, Ben-son, Mr. and Mrs. Arden Drollinger, Drollin-ger, Bishop and Mrs. James Lemon, Lem-on, Mrs. Charles Percival, Archie Benson. Mrs. Minnie Tromley and Mrs. John Angus. Sunday Sacrament meeting program pro-gram was given by the members of the Aaronic priesthood. Seven deacons sang "An Angel From On High," and "Love At Home," accompanied ac-companied by Renee Russell. Talks were given by Bart Killian, Kent Robison, Hall Winterton, John P e c i v a 1, Mrs. Iona Richens and Bishop James F. Lemon. Prayers were by Kent Robison and Alton D. Percival. The boys from Ioka attending the FFA Livestock Show at Alta-mont Alta-mont Friday were John Percival who received' grand champion ribbon rib-bon on a white brood sow; Kent Robison received 1st on a fat beef steer and Tom Melburn re ceived write ribbons on a pig and dairy heifer. Mrs. Howard Jones and Mrs. Paul Foote spent the weekend in Levan as guests of their mother, Mrs. Sherwood.- Mrs. Ralph Dart was a Vernal visitor Thursday. Mrs. Willis Dart accompanied her. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Washburn took their little daughter, Andrea, to Salt Lake Thursday for an eye treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry of Myton, and Mr. and' Mrs. Tom Gentry and daughter, Pat, spent Mother's Day . with their parents Mr. . and Mrs. ' W." G. Gentry. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lemon spent a few days last week at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Max Hartman of Mt. Emmons. Mr. and Mrs. Bus Warr of Salt Lake visited relatives and friends in Ioka Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Senor Mortensen and daughter, Mrs. Mary Lee Stevens, Stev-ens, of Fort Worth, Texas, were Salt Lake visitors Friday and Saturday. - Mr. and Mrs. 0. A. Dart, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Dart and Mr. and Mrs. Willis Dart were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kielbasa of Duchesne on Mother's Day. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lemon and family of Vernal were Mother's Day visitors at the home of their parents, Mr. and . Mrs. James Lloyd. Bishop James Lemon and family spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Lemon's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Os-car Nelson of Upalco. . Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Washburn and family of Spanish Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Fausett and children chil-dren of Upalco, Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Sherman Sorensen and family fam-ily of Roosevelt, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Washburn and children and A. V. Sorensen of Ioka, spent Mother's Day with their mother, Mrs. Olive Sorenson. Visitors at the home of Mrs. Emil Anderson Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Anderson, LaRea and Joan Shelton of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Hancock and daughter, Sandy, of Salt Lake City, visited Mrs. Hancock's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Spencer, Sunday.
