Show WHITEROCKS Madeena Smith Honor Mothers A Primary Mother's Day party was held Tuesday at Primary. The children presented their mothers with gifts they had made in Primary. Pri-mary. MEET TOGETHER The ward Relief Society met with the Indian Relief Society on Wednesday. A quilt was made for Edna DuShane. Some of the ladies worked on pillow tops and did crochet work for a bazaar to be held in the near future. Two people from the Deseret News Church section staff were here Tuesday taking pictures of the Indian Relief Society to use in their paper. Mrs. Edith Oberhansly and family fam-ily visited her sister, Mrs. Lor-ena Lor-ena Iorg in Altonah Sunday. A show- and food sale were held Wednesday. The proceeds were used to buy Scout and Explorer suits for the Scouts before they . went to the Scout encampment on Friday. Go To See Game Mrs Edith Oberhansly and her father, Elmer Denver, accompanied accompan-ied her sister, Mrs. Lorena Iorg, and others to Hurricane to attend a league baseball game between the Indians and Hurricane. Mrs. Lynn Hardy took her son. Lewis, to Vernal Thursday to have dental work done. Madeena Smith gave the teacher teach-er training lesson in Primary preparation pre-paration meeting Tuesday. , Mrs. Zella Pike visited Mrs. Thelma Dunsmore in Altonah on Wednesday. Jack and Garth Anderton of Tooele are visiting this week with their brother, ldon Anderton and family. Jack is a Merchant Marine Mar-ine and is home on leave. The Wendel Mitchells and Doris Jones families visited their soster, Mrs. Lila Wilson, Sunday. The Calvin Anderton family of Dugway visited the Leland Mocs-man Mocs-man family three days this week. GO TO SCOUT CAMP Elbert Smith took his Scout boys, Kenneth Hoops, Lewis Hardy, George Houston, Roger Griffin and Richard Murray to the Scout encampment in Uinta Canyon Friday after school. The Aaronic priesthood boys and leaders lead-ers joined them Saturday afternoon after-noon for an outing. The Jessie Palm family were dinner guests of the William Worf family Sunday. The Norwood Hardy family enjoyed en-joyed an outing in Uinta Canyon on Saturday. Mrs Ruth Jensen of Neola visited vis-ited the Indian Relief Society on Tuesday of last week. Mrs. Jensen was a former missionary here. Mrs. Ona Taylor and Mrs. Anderson An-derson of Roosevelt visited Mrs. Erma Collett Tuesday. Mrs. Alice Billings returned home with them after a few days visit here with the Colletts. Mrs. Chivers' room went to Vernal Ver-nal for a full day. They visited the Fieldhouse and other places of Interest. In-terest. Lester Bartlett took them in his bus. Mrs. Horrocks took her first grade on a hike along the creek east of the school Tuesday. PRESENTS PROGRAM The Aaronic priesthood gave the program in meeting Sunday. The speakers were Virgil Robb, Kenneth Ken-neth Hoops, Sheldon Robb, Orion Smith, Mildred Moosman and Bishop Ellingford. The boys' chorus chor-us sang three songs. Children and their families of Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith gathered gather-ed at their home Sunday for Mother's Day. Mrs. Roberta Crozier of Neola visited Primary here Tuesday. The Bill Hoops family visited in Tridell Sunday with Mrs. Hoops' mother, Mrs. Esther Harvey. |
