Show BRIDGELAIID Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee Mothers Honored A very lovely program was presented pre-sented honoring the mothers of the ward in Sunday School. Those taking part were: Robert Murphy,, George Marrett Douglas Murphy, Karen Liddell, Coleen Fitzgerald, Norvella Brundage, Bertie Lisonbee Lison-bee and Mrs. Thelma Lamb. Those from Bridgeland ward attending at-tending MIA leadership meeting at Duchesne Thursday evening were: Letta Meyer, Edith Brady, Lois Stansfield, Christina Fitzgerald, Judy Shephard, Helen Neilsen, Hazel Walters, Bertie and Elva Lisonbee. A NEW PRESIDENT Judy Shephard was elected as president of the stake Gleaner Girls. She succeeds Bertie Lisonbee, Lison-bee, who served as the president the past year. Wilma Meyer of Salt Lake and LaRene Meyer of Roosevelt spent the weekend with their parents,, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Meyer. FIRST GRANDCHILD Mr. and Mrs. Elden Brady received re-ceived the happy news that they were grandparents to a new granddaughter. grand-daughter. The little girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brady at tho Coif T ilro T nC Wncnitnl Mav 8th. The Bradys left Saturday for Salt Lake to see' their first granddaughter. grand-daughter. They also planned to visit at Provo with Mrs. Brady's mother, Mrs. Emma Rasmussen. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. K. E. Liddell were Mr. and Mrs. Lon Farns-worth Farns-worth and baby, Dr. and Mrs. Curt Kofford and Mrs. Mona Dee Abbott, Ab-bott, all of Salt Lake City. Robert Murphy spent a few days in Salt Lake City visiting relatives. He spent some time with his grandmother, Mrs. Jane Murphy. Mur-phy. Gerald Murphy of Murray spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Murphy. - Joann Shephard, Carol Ann Brady of Salt Lake, spent the weekend here with their families. Other visitors here were Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Liddell and baby and Rulon Liddell of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walters and baby daughter of Salt Lake City. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs Shelby Lisonbee Wednesday were Mrs Frank Monks of Hay-den Hay-den Colo., James Dean of San Francisco, Calif, and Miss Franki Deane Morrell of Salt Lake City. Ervin Murphy and daughters, Maxine and Norma Rae went to Salt Lake Sunday to visit their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Jane Murphy. Bertie Lisonbee and Norma Rae Murphy were Friday overnight guests of Maxine Murhpy and La-Rene La-Rene Meyer at Roosevelt. JaNae Liddell was an overnight guest of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Abe Liddell, Friday. Mr and Mrs. Johnny Wills, Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Neilsen of Salt Lake City spent the weekend here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vere Neilsen. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters on Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Benson Ben-son and daughter, Beverly .of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gillespie, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Jensen Jen-sen and daughter, Carolyn, of Tooele. They were all " dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Wright of Utahn, including Mr. and Mrs. Walters and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walters and little ReNae of Salt Lake. Mothers having children attending attend-ing the Myton School from Bridge-land Bridge-land ward enjoyed the very lovely Spring Festival at the Myton School Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marchant and children spent Mother's Day with their parents at Peoa. Mrs. Alma Smith is visiting in Salt Lake with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roe Smith. Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Liddell were: Mr. and Mrs. Abe Liddell of Roosevelt, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Liddell and baby and Rulon Liddell Lid-dell of Provo, Mrs. Ethel Taylor, JaNae and Karren Liddell. Mrs. Thelma Lamb and daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Darleen Huber of La-point, La-point, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shields of Arcadia to Salt Lake Monday to do some Temple work. Emmons, Em-mons, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shields ' and baby of Arcadia. Mrs. Elsie Monks of Hayden, I Colo., visited Sunday afternoon; with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee. Wanless Shields took his mother moth-er Mrs. Mae Shields of Arcadia, to' Salt Lake City Friday for medical med-ical attention. Don Price is visiting the Shields boys at the present time. Mrs. Reed Stansfield' and chil dren visited Sunday at Vernal with Mr. and Mrs. Orson Neilsen. Mrs. Clista Neilsen and children spent Mother's Day at Vernal with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Norton.
