Jack Spencer was taking care of business matters in Roosevelt, Friday. Mrs. Stella Ames spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. Archie Benson. Jolene and Kent Robison stayed stay-ed at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelsen last week while their parents made a trip to Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Vere Snarr, of Murray, announce the marriage of their daughter, Lorna, to Paul Miles, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miles, of Beyth, Calif., former residents of Ioka. A wedding reception re-ception will be given Wednesday evening at 6542 South State St., Murray, Utah. Mrs. Arden Drollinger, Mrs. Joshua Timothy and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon were Roosevelt visitors Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry spent Sunday evening in Roosevelt. Roose-velt. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd had as visitors, Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Dennis and children, chil-dren, of Vernal, and on Sunday they had a nephew, Loran Lloyd of California, as a visitor. Mr. and Mrs. John A. Angus and grandsons, John and Alton Percival, went to Bluebell, Saturday Sat-urday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook and family. The occasion celebrated the 7th birthday anniversary an-niversary of their grandson, Lynn Cook. Mr. and Mrs. M. J. Benson and Mr. and Mrs. Russel Robison Robi-son and small daughter were Salt Lake visitors Friday and Saturday. Genealogical conference was held Sunday. A very interesting program was carried out. Murel Benson, Omni Winterton and Eldwin Bascomb, of Roosevelt, and members of the Stake Board were visitors. EaVelte Percival was the guest of Caron Gincs, Sunday afternoon. after-noon. Jeannete Loury is on the sick list this week with what may be German measles. Evan Percival cut his foot quite badly Saturday while chopping chop-ping wood. |
