Show Montivel-EVIonarch i Mrs. E. Brown A delightful one-act play, "The Round-up of Minnie "was presented pre-sented by the M I A Wednesday evening. The cast included Doug Brown, Donald Anderton. Cor nell Parry, Fred Brown. Coleen Reynolds, Clea Pace, and Dan Pace. Dancing was enjoyed after the play.. Miss Nellie Miller visited her grandmother, Mrs. C. A. Brown, on Sunday. , Miss JoAnn Walker, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, was an overnight guest of Rosalie Brown on Wednesday. The baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Anderton has been quite ill this week. ! The Boy Scouts presented a splendid program in Mutual ; Tuesday evening, with Jack ! Reynolds acting as master of ceremonies. Presentation of colors col-ors was made, followed by the I opening song, "America." The I invocation was given by Donald Anderton, followed by the scouts I singing "Come Ye Saints." Speakers were Gail Mower, "The Scouts of 1847;" Fred Brown, "Brigham Young as a Scout;" James Hamblin, "Spiritual "Spirit-ual Ideals of the Scouts of 1847;" Melvin Mower, "What Came Out of Scouting in 1847;" Doug Brown, "How Boy Scouting Slar-'ted Slar-'ted in America;" remarks by Scout Master Dan Pace. The closing hymn was, "We Thank Thee O God for a Prophet." Mr. and Mrs. Reed Anderton entertained a large group of young people Saturday evening in honor of their son, Val's, birthday anniversary. Guests included in-cluded Kenneth Chivers. Ray Summarell, Clea Pace, Coleen Reynolds, Buster Nelson, Ina Lee Nelson, Fred Brown, Edwin Duncan, Donald Anderton, and the guest of honor. The group enjoyed delicious refreshments. James Hamblin accompanied his uncle, Elmer Larscn, to Idaho Ida-ho to help him move back to T?nn:pvrlt TVTp T.arcrn J-inc i-iir- chased the John Smith ranch. Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Call and children, of Price, and Mrs. Levi J. Anderton, of Duchesne, visited visi-ted at the home of M.r. and Mrs. Ray Brown on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Brown and son, Gary, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson. Thomp-son. Donald Loranger has been helping at the C. A. Brown farm for a few days this week. |
