Show TJeola Ruth B. Jensen Thursday morning, the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Whiting was completely destroyed by fire. Mr. and Mrs. William Crozier and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Croz-ier Croz-ier returned home from California, Califor-nia, Thursday, where they attended at-tended their father's funeral. They visited many points of interest. in-terest. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hutcheon J and daughter, Reta, visited Mr. and Mrs. Ned Schoell at Orcm last weekend. Reta purchased a car while there. Thad Wilkerson spent several days in Salt Lake last week. Mrs. Walter Smith returned to Salt Lake last Wednesday after visiting with her mother, Mrs. Mame Gardner, for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Peterson left last Thursday for Evanston, Wyoming for a visit. I Mrs. Elva Iorg is visiting with her parents, Mr. and. Mrs. Wesley Wes-ley Allred. Mr. and Mrs. Q. Allred are visiting at the home of Mr. andi Mrs. Ferris Henrie. Maxene Gardner fell and injured in-jured her leg severely, Monday, while at school. Mrs. Kate Peterson and Mrs. Amanda Henrie attended Primary Pri-mary at the Moffett ward last .Sunday. Lionel Jensen left Tuesday to attend the American Association of Schools at Atlanta City, N. J. The ward held a farewell party par-ty for the Seth Asay family, Sunday night at the church house. There was a large crowd in attendance, and a very interesting inter-esting program was given. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. The Asay family will be greatly missed. We wish them success in their new undertakings at Murray. Marion Harrison went to Salt Lake last Monday. James Q Peterson was in Salt Lake last Monday on business. Supt. William J. Bond was a visitor in Neola last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Laris were visitors at Mr. and Mjrs Royal Horrocks' last Thursday. A special meeting was called by Lester Gardner and Elroy Halverson, Wednesday afternoon, after-noon, to discuss Indian irrigation irriga-tion problems. The M Men and Town basketball basket-ball teams went to Roosevelt, Monday night and played ball. Mr. and Mrs. George Conn visited vis-ited at the home of Wesley All-red, All-red, Sunday. y I Elden and Dahl Gardner are visiting at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Rex Gardner. The Daughters of the Pioneers held their monthly meeting Sunday evening at the ward hall' |
