Show Farmers To Be Guests Of Local Firm On Tuesday The John Deere show, an entertainment en-tertainment and educational presentation pre-sentation designed especially for farm families, will be a feature attraction in Roosevelt, Tuesday, March 3, according to J. V. McLea, Inc., sponsors of the event. The official opening of the show will be heralded by a luncheon at the American Legion Barracks, starting at 11:30 a. m. and lasting until 1 p. m. Mr. McLea will be- the host at the luncheon, and has extended an invitation to all Uintah Basin farmers to "come and enjoy themselves." The event is nationally na-tionally known as John Deere Day. Following the luncheon two picture shows will be presented at the new Uinta theatre; one a purely entertaining feature, and the other an educational attraction attrac-tion showing the latest farming methods, use of farm machinery and proper soil utilization. The John Deere show will be accompanied by the official opening op-ening of the new sales room of J. V. McLea, Inc. Visiting farmers farm-ers are invited by Mr. McLea to visit the new farm machinery sales and stock room which, after being completely modernized, and fully stocked is, according to Mr. McLea, one of the finest sales and display rooms in the state. "We have gone to no end to make the John Deere show one of the finest attractions ever to hit the Basin," said Mr. McLea. "We want every farmer in the area to join us in a day of good food, high class entertainment, and educational features of note. Please don't forget to pay us a visit at our new sales room we are proud of it and are anxious to have you inspect it.' |
