Show Final Respects Paid Tarvel L. Laurson Funeral services were held in the Second ward chapel Monday afternoon af-ternoon for. Tarvel L. Laursen, 49, who died Wednesday of last week at the family home following an illness ill-ness of about eight months. Mr. Laursen was bom in Denmark and came to America when but eight years of age. He has been a resident resi-dent of American Fork for the past 30 years, where he was engaged in the blacksmith business. Bishop Joseph H. Storrs was in charge of the services and announced announc-ed the program which was carried out as follows: vocal solo, "I'm A Pilgrim" by Kenneth Robinson, accompanied ac-companied by Lydia Olsen, who was accompanist for the services; prayer, Lenard S. Harrington; remarks, S. T. Baker; violin solo, Miss Maxine Taylor; remarks, President Clifford E. Young; remarks. Bishop Storrs; solo "One Sweetly Solemn Thought", Kenneth Robinson; benediction, Thomas S. Priday. Interment was made in the city cemetery where the grave was dedicated dedi-cated by John H. Robinson. The large number of friends and relatives gathered at the services and the beautiful flowers gave evidence evi-dence of the respect the people of Amrican Fork have for the Laursen family. n |
