Show Am. Fork Locals Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Bush and daughters of Eureka, spent last week-end here as quests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bush. Mr. and Mrs. Eyron Crookston motored to Kennelworth the midc3e cf the week and spent several days visiting with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Burton. Local friends of former Attorney I General George P. Parker of Salt Lake will be glad to learn that he 1 is feeling somewhat bcter. Mr. ; Parker is in the L. D. S. Hospital ! recuperating from a heart ailment. I ' The officers and teachers of the ' Young Men's organization of the First ward M. I. A. were entertained by the Young Women's organization Wednesday night in the ward chapel. The playing of Keeno occupied oc-cupied the time following which a tasty lunch was served. There were eighteen present. Mrs. K. J. Bird entertained Wednesday Wed-nesday night at a shower party honoring her daughter Mrs. Dean S. Webb, formerly Miss Lucile Bird. The twenty-eight guests present were served a deliiious supper at 7:30 after which bridge and rook were played. Mrs. Edward J. Larsen and Mrs.' Lenard Chipman won the prizes. The honor guest was presented pre-sented with a number of lovely as well as useful gifts, accompanied by many good wishes from the donors. The members of the Young Bridge club entertained their husbands last Friday night at a Hallowe'en party held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Peters. Monte Carlo Whist was the main diversion of the evening, eve-ning, Mrs. Moral Steele capturing the high score prize and James Preston the low score favor. A delicious de-licious lunch was served at the small tables to Messrs. and Mesdames Fay Chadwick, Elmo Peters, Moral Steele Culver Anderson, Earl Chadwick, Dave War.nick. James Preston, Stanley Stan-ley Peters and George Holindrake. Mrs. Milton Adams entertained the H. B. club last Saturday afternoon after-noon at her home. Four tables of bridge were played, Mrs. Le Moyne Despain winning the club prize and Mrs. C. A, Grartt the guest prize. Hallowe'en decorations adorned the entertaining rooms. A dainty Jury: was served".-In addition to the club members there were present as special spe-cial guests, Mesdames Clyde Thornton, Thorn-ton, Melvin Grant, Bernard Storrs, Frank Bush, Arza Adams, Mate Earl, Rulon Nicholes, C. A. Grant, . Owen Lynch and Marion Mercer. Ardell Kelly met with a painful accident when his right arm was mangled in machinery at the A. W. Pulley turkey dressing plant. The muscles were torn away. Mr. Kelly is at home and feeling as well as can be expected. He just recently regained the full use of a f oat which was injured during the summer and which necessitated the use of crutches crutch-es for some time. Mrs. Alvin Monson entertained at a Hallowe'en party Saturday evening. eve-ning. Twenty guests were present and enjoyed the festivities. A buf-ett buf-ett luncheon was served.
