Show Death Claims Joseph Britton . Joseph Britton, 86, a resident of this city for a number of years, died Wednesday of last week in . Salt Lake City at the home of a niece, Mrs. A. C Swift, with whom he was visiting. Death was due to infirmities infirm-ities incident to age. Mr. Britton made his home the greater part of his life with his brother, the late Fredi Britton, of this city. Mrs. Lib-by Lib-by Varney went to Salt Lake City to assist in caring for him during his last illness. The deceased was born in England, Eng-land, December 30, 1849, a son of Richard and Elizabeth Lee Britton. In 1852 the family emigrated to Utah as converts to the L. D. S. church. Mr. Britton spent his early life in Salt Lake City and helped build the Salt Lake temple. Funeral services were held in the Deseret Mortuary in Salt Lake City City Sunday afternoon and interment inter-ment was made in a Salt Lake cemetery. cem-etery.
