Show Red Cross Drive Opens Here Next Week The annual Red Cross Roll Call will be launched next week in American Amer-ican Fork. Commencing November 11th and continuing for one week the drive for memberships in this big humanitarian organization will be an. The number of disaster victims assisted by the Red Cross in this nation during the fiscal year ending June 30th was more than four times the number aided in the previous twelve month period. Over 130.000 families were given food, shelter, clothing and medical care and thousands of homes were rebuilt or repaired by the Red Cross to enable them to carry on. Pointing to the many sided problems prob-lems created by the wide variety of types of disasters which occurred during the year, Admiral Carty T. Grayson, national chairman said: "The Red Cross sent hundreds of trained workers into 39 states to meet the many exigencies of catastrophes catas-trophes which included earthquake, epidemic, explosion, fire, hurricane, ice lock, landslide, refugee relief, shipwreck, tornado and typhoon.
