All vacancies in the Coast Artillery have been filled, and those for the other branches are limited. The men who enlist for station in Hawaii will leave San Francisco on the Army transport St. Mlhiel, sailing November Novem-ber 13th, or aboard the Republic on the 24th. Vacancies for the 4th Infantry and 38th Infantry will probably be available throughout November, according ac-cording to Colonel Webb. He said also, that vacancies for three men who are qualified as stenographers exist for the Philippine department. The Colonel pointed out that these men will be enlisted for the kind of work for which they have been trained, and that opportunity, for advancement in this line is exceptionally excep-tionally good. Application for any of the vacancies vacan-cies may be made at the following Inter-mountain recruiting offices: 223 Ness Building, Salt Lake City; and in the Federal Buildings in Og-den, Og-den, Utah; Boise and Pocatello, Idaho.
